The Adirondack Regional Blood Center of CVPH will hold a community blood drive on Friday, April 2nd from 11AM – 2PM. The drive will be located next to Old Navy.
Nancy Roberts, organizer of the blood drive states the urgency and importance to this year’s drive: “We have had several blood drives cancelled due to restrictions at some facilities in regard to COVID-19 mandates. Our blood bank is the primary supplier of blood to all five area hospitals. It is important that we maintain enough blood to supply our local hospitals. Without an adequate supply, patients would have to wait several hours to receive blood products in an emergency.”
Ninety-five percent of the blood used at CVPH comes from this donor program. Walk-ins are absolutely welcome. Save a life and donate on April, 2nd.
