Every Tuesday this summer beginning, June 28th,and running through August 23rd, Champlain Centre will be the site of family-friendly fun for kids of all ages. “Tykes Tuesday” offers a new activity every week from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. for families looking for something fun to do over the summer break.
The activities, which will be sponsored by retailers in Champlain Centre and local businesses and community groups, aim to provide educational entertainment for children up to age 12. The programs are free for children and parents.
The Tykes Tuesday schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, June 28th: Kent Delord House Museum presents 19th Century Children’s Crafts
- Tuesday, July 5th: Children’s Place hosts a Pirate and Princess party
- Tuesday, July 12th: Greer Cicarelli Photography sponsors Photo Fun Day
- Tuesday, July 19th: Magician Tom Joyce
- Tuesday, July 26th: Cook and Gardener presents Flower Power Day
- Tuesday, August 2nd: Clinton County Health Department presents Eat Healthy
- Tuesday, August 9th: Tobacco-Free CFE & Reality Check presents Butterfly Day
- Tuesday, August 16th: CCCNC presents Superhero Day
- Tuesday, August 23rd: Magician Tom Joyce
Also happening at Champlain Centre this summer is Regal Cinemas’ Summer Movie Express, which will show different G- and PG-rated movies for only $2 every Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
